My passion for the art of hair began at an early age. I have been in the beauty industry for 13 years. Staying in touch with current hair trends and seeking out advanced education has allowed me to grow stronger in my hair designing and cutting abilities. I am an experienced Aveda colorist and have been through advanced technical education classes through Aveda, Goldwell and Bumble and Bumble. My creative talent is in designing natural looking highlights and dimensional hair color. The Brazilian Blowout is another treatment that I love working with. I have found that the results are amazing! The Brazilian Blowout helps to improve the condition of hair by coating the hair with a protective protien to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle resulting in smooth, healthy, conditioned hair with radiant shine.
I specialize in and am very passionate about cutting and coloring naturally curly and textured hair. My goal for all my clients is for them to be excited with their look and leave with healthy, beautiful hair.

My father always said, “when you look good, you feel good.” I’ve held that philosophy throughout my life and I always want my clients to feel good. I am a passionate and creative hair designer and makeup artist with 14 years of experience. I specialize in hair color, styling, and makeup and have an in-depth understanding of the beauty industry. I love customizing hair color and cuts as well as makeup looks. I also love bridal hair and makeup as well as special occasion styling. I have experience and certification for editorial photo shoots, weddings, and fashion shows. I been lucky enough to work New York Fashion Week styling hair with the most talented stylist in the world. Working with Texture, I am happy to be able to work with my favorite hair-care line, Bumble & Bumble! As an enthusiastic stylist, I enjoy staying current with cutting-edge styles and the latest trends in hair, make-up, and fashion.
My favorite part of any service is, at the end of our time together, seeing that my guest truly feels good about herself and the way she looks. At Texture we provide you with the latest trends and techniques while offering a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. I treat my guests like family and I take great pride in my work. As a small child, I was always inspired by the beauty in things. I found joy in cutting all of my Barbie’s hair off and giving my mom pedicures, so it’s safe to say they knew where I was going in life! In August of 2012 I graduated Regency Beauty Institute here in Madison. While in school, I knew I wanted to be in a salon and spa that is focused on inspiration and fulfilling clients’ dreams, continued education and teamwork. I am very happy to say I have found all of that and more at Texture Salon and Spa.
With my experiences in the hair industry so far, I have found a true love for men’s’ haircutting. I love figuring out the best style for either the professional or casual man. There’s nothing more enjoyable then taking challenging hair and making it enjoyable and manageable.
I’m also passionate about creating the total look for my guests; whether it’s fixing their nails with a quick manicure/pedicure, or a complimentary makeup touch up after their hair services. I have taken continuing education with Glo Minerals (our makeup line) and am passionate about the amazing properties and skin benefits Glo has to offer with their products including ,but not limited to, their UV protection in their makeup and lack of artificial fillers allowing your make up to sit on top of the skin instead of sinking into pores.
I hold a strong belief that pedicure season is all year round, male or female. It is very important to take care and pamper our feet as they take us everywhere we go. At Texture, we have a variety of specialty pedicures dedicated to healing, soothing and relaxation. Ever since I was a young girl, I have enjoyed playing with hair and makeup. I always knew I wanted to be a hair dresser. I never questioned being something else. From cutting my doll’s hair, to spending hours styling my own hair in middle school, I have always been fascinated by hair. Having guests leave my chair feeling beautiful is always such a rewarding feeling.
After high school, I attended VICI Aveda Institute, graduating in late 2013. I have been a stylist since and absolutely love it. I have a background in Redkin/Pureology line. I have also attended Bumble University in New York City to expand my cutting technique and knowledge of the Bumble and bumble product line. I have always loved to learn and am eager to continue my education in the industry and excited to be part of a team that values education as much as I do. I believe that hair is an art form and there are always things to be learned and perfected.
I do specialize in all coloring from fashion colors to highlighting. I love coloring because it instantly transforms clients. I, especially, love working with blondes, using balayage technique to make highlights appear natural and flow beautifully, really experiencing the artistry of color.

Ever since I can remember I have considered myself an artistic person, starting out through painting and coloring as a child. As I developed a passion for cosmetology, especially the coloring and design of hair, entering the beauty industry seemed the natural option in order to work doing what I love. I began my education in cosmetology in California, at the Academy for Salon Professionals. Upon moving to Wisconsin, I furthered my skills through yet another program, AVEDA Institute – both affording me a diverse outlook on the stylings and techniques of the beauty industry.
Moreover, I have always been an outgoing people person. Thus working in the beauty industry has been a very fulfilling experience as it allows me to work with my artistic abilities in helping an eclectic range of clientele achieve their desired look. Growing up I always enjoyed and had a great interest in the arts, but I never thought of becoming a stylist. Following high school, I was encouraged to explore the world of cosmetology and fell in love. I was inspired by my educators and was encouraged by them to pursue a career in our industry. They taught me the importance of community as well as the importance of the health, happiness, and well-being of my clients.
I was lucky enough to receive specialized education in platform artistry for both hair and makeup. I have also been trained in Aveda men’s cutting techniques. I pride myself on eyebrow shaping abilities, I believe that the eyebrows frame the face. I love short women’s haircuts, enjoy working with children, and love all color services from subtle, natural colors to full rainbow!
Honesty with my clients is something I do not compromise on, I want my clients to trust that I will take them on the beauty journey that best suits them. My goal for my clients is for them to love how they look and feel during and after their services.
